Essential Recordings: These are the ones that come to
my mind, I am going to do a list of music for specific occasions soon, that'll
be fun.
Morcheeba - Who Can You Trust, The Big Calm, Fragments of Freedom.
The band rocks, the singer's voice is milk and honey, and in concert they rocked like
Jane's Addiction.
Radiohead - Kid A. I didn't like this album till my brother gave me a mental bop on
the head and said, "I really like it. I imagined myself making this music and
coming up with it and I would be really stoked." It is like Jimmy Hendrix showing up
on the scene and blowing all the pansy music out of the water with a new undefinable
sound. I recommend giving it at least 5 or 6 listens in good headphones.
Groove Armada - Vertigo. This is an excellent album to listen to, or to put on when
you have to concentrate, it works either way... I see you baby, shakin' that ass.
Traveler '99 - a compilation of various World Music Artists that is absolutely awesome.
By SixDegrees Records.
Joe Henry - Trampoline. This guy's voice and song writing style remind me of Dave
Matthews with the In Synch part of him removed.
Recommended Reading: These are the books that I have
read lately that stand out in my mind.
The Four Agreements - Fast, helpful, excellent advice. If you read this book and did
only what it suggested you would amaze yourself with how much happier.
