Surf Check
My favorite view, pretty much. Look at how lovely this place is. Now, doesn't
that make you never want to litter again?

Ocean Beach - This map shows the swell height in feet, the swell period (longer
is better, in this case -17 seconds is excellent, powerful, clean ground swell
while 9 seconds is horrible, messy wind swell), and it also shows the direction
the swell is coming from, with North being 360 and South being 180 (the high 200s
is great, low 300s works, too).

This is the real-time San Francisco Bay wind patterns... Blowing out to sea, or
not at all, is best. http://sfports.wr.usgs.gov/wind/
This is a very cool list of NOAA and CDIP buoys. These give you a look at how
the whole coast from the Aulutians to So. Cal and Hawaii are doing. Click on any
one and get more info.

This is the world as I see it. An animated wave height and direction model. Pretty
cool view of Gaia.

If you like to look at the Earth from up high, check out this link. Once you get
there, I recommend the NE Pacific Visible. Vertigo! Awesome. http://facs.scripps.edu/surf/sat.html
