Work
Here are the things I am involved with these days. I think they're exciting, maybe
you will as well.
Meme Dispersal Unit, Marketing, LLC
- After the experience I gained at BIGWORDS and with the fantastic students we
left hanging I had to start a College/Guerilla Marketing consulting and implementation
company. We are the Armani of college marketing with high touch, highly effective
campus marketing. I genuinely believe that you can start a worldwide trend by correctly
seeding memes in a relatively small number of influential colleges.
meme
/meem/ [By analogy with "gene"] Richard Dawkins's term for an idea
considered as a replicator, especially with the connotation that memes parasitise
people into propagating them much as viruses do.
HotWax Media - My brother Mike started by taking the Monterey Institute for
International Studies online. His company, HotWax, has been building Websites
and other software since 1997. They built this site for me. They do quick, fantastic
work at reasonable rates. Check it out for yourself. If you need work done I can
get you a good deal. If you need work and you know Flash, Java, HTML, etc. send
me your resume.
RADsystems
- The brainchild of a very successful mortgage broker, RADSystems and the teamBEST
Network turbocharge mortgage brokers. By giving them excellent, functional Websites,
patent pending loan application software and marketing that drives business to
them RADsystems is set to take off. I love the non-sexyness of this. It's easy
and it works. Period. No hocus pocus, just a growing bottom line for brokers.
Memetrics
- I wish BIGWORDS had been able to use this a year ago. Memetrics offers you a
scientific method with which to optimize your Website offers, traffic patterns,
and messaging which led to an increase in sales of over 75% for a well established
client. This sort of software is going to revolutionize the Web and our experience
of it. If you have a Web site I recommend you visit them. If you're interested
in what they've got, drop me a line.
BIGWORDS.com
- OK, ok, what happened to BIGWORDS? I know it's the question everyone wants to
ask. Here is the not totally ready for primetime version, complete with some of
the big lessons I learned.
